Is Usborne the same company as PaperPie?

Usborne is an independent children's publisher based in the UK. We create and publish children's books that are sold around the world.

In the United States, Usborne books have historically been distributed by Educational Development Corporation (EDC), a separate US company. EDC operated a direct-selling division called Usborne Books & More, which was later renamed PaperPie.

PaperPie is owned and operated by EDC, not by Usborne. Its product range includes Usborne books alongside other children's books and educational products.

While PaperPie sells Usborne books, it is not the same company as Usborne, and Usborne has never owned or operated PaperPie.

If you see references online to Usborne Books & More or PaperPie, these relate to the US distribution and direct-selling business operated by EDC.

Usborne also distributes books in the USA through traditional retail channels via a relationship with HarperCollins.
